ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an Entry Level Welder to
undertake a variety of tasks relating to prefabrication of
electrical infrastructure. Your job can be responsible for
blueprint reading, interpreting designs, monitoring machinery, and
assessing welded components. To excel in this role, you should have
in-depth knowledge of welding machinery and technical electrical
equipment, and a keen attention to detail. In this role, you will
learn to work safely around high-voltage electrical equipment.Due
to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, electricians
must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great
attention to safety precautions.ResponsibilitiesOperating safety
equipment and using safe work habitsPreparing materials for
welding; cutting, grinding and cleaning metal. Utilizes fabrication
skills to complete all phases of fabrication.Building complex
assembliesReading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings,
instructions, manuals, and specificationsUsing precision measuring
instruments.Operating hand tools and other shop equipment such as
grinders, etc.Performing the lay out, fit-up and assembly of
weldments.Monitoring and maintaining proper cleanliness of machines
and work area daily.Performing other duties, as assigned
QualificationsWhat You OfferMust be at least 18 years of age1 year
relevant experience MIG welding, or in the construction
industryHigh school diploma or GED, or relevant vocational
trainingAbility to use measuring tools, electrical tools, and hand
toolsAbility to lift and carry 50lbsThe ability to understand
schematics and blueprintsDutifully follows established Safety Rules
and Company PolicyMust be dependable and have good record of
attendance and punctualityExcellent critical thinking and
