The Position: We are hiring Senior Desk Adjusters as W2 employees to join our growing company!We offer competitive pay, complete benefits package along with a 401(k) match, paid holidays and generous PTO!NOTE: This is a DAILY property claims position utilizing Symbility estimating platform.Overview:Senior Desk Adjusters will investigate, evaluate, reserve, negotiate and resolve assigned claims in accordance with client guidelines. The adjuster will provide timely, accurate, fair, and professional service to all clients and insured parties while maintaining a high level of production. Must have Symbility property claim handling experience.Key Responsibilities:Conducts thorough investigations, as outlined in the claim handling guidelines and best practicesDenies, settles, or authorizes payments to property claims based on coverage, field reports, and verifiable damageInterviews, telephones, or corresponds with insureds, claimants, vendors, carriers, witnesses, public adjusters, attorneys, etc. to gather important information to support the claims; including proofs of lossSets proper reservesTakes recorded statements as neededReviews and evaluates property claims for coverage and further claim handling procedures to conclude within the required statutory time frameNegotiates and resolves supplements based on clients claims handling guidelinesInterpret policy language and evaluate coverage issues of multiple different policies and endorsementsAddresses diaries, emails, and voicemails timelyPrepares technical claim documents and correspondencePrepares report of findings of an investigationContributes to department efforts with an emphasis on team collaborationOther Duties as assignedQualifications:Symbility experience requiredInsurance company property desk claims adjusting preferredDaily Desk Adjusting- No CAT only experienceThree to Five plus years of related property claim handling experienceMust hold a valid claims adjusting licenseStrong Writing Skills related to policy interpretation is a mustDecision-making skills and the ability to work independentlyGood organization and time management skillsAnalytical and proactive claim handling skillsExcellent customer service skillsProficient oral and written communication is a mustProficient computer & typing skills - working knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel and OutlookFamiliar with a variety of field concepts, practices and proceduresAbility to speak Spanish a plusSalary: From $67,000.00 per year
