Lilly has initiated a multi-year Lab transformation program that will enable 1) simplified, standardized, and optimized Laboratory processes, 2) innovation and agility for unprecedented growth with new sites, modalities, and partnerships, and 3) modernization of solution infrastructure by moving to cloud-based solutions and advanced technology. The Tech@Lilly Global Lab Operations team is actively looking for an IT Associate Director, a passionate leader poised for broad impact, to join the NextGen Labs Program. What you’ll be doing: The Lilly Technology group is looking for a bold leader and coach to drive the design, development, and deployment of a modern technology stack using the Agile deployment methodology. You will have supervisory responsibilities and serve as coach of a skilled team of Technical, Business Process, and Data Architects. In addition, you will be partnering and overseeing multiple business partners and service providers both internal and external to Lilly. How you will succeed: • Be Bold - We are looking for a Leader to tackle tough challenges and ability to coach a diverse team through translation of complex business requirements into robust business process and data solutions. • Be Fast - We need someone who is willing to move at the pace of MQ and the Growth of the organization. • Be Engaging - We need a leader who will engage the a broad and diverse team focused on streamlining business processes using automated solutions and new capabilities such as Artificial Intelligence and data integration using modern API platforms. What You Should Bring: • Strong understanding of QC Lab business processes. • Ability to influence across Executive to Front Line and engage at both the operational and strategic level. • Demonstrated project management abilities to lead complex projects through the management of scope, financials, timelines, issues, and risks. • Experience working with modern technology stack including cloud based SaaS solutions, Artificial Intelligence, and Vision Analytics. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering/Technology, Information Technology, Security, or another relevant field. • Minimum 5 years of relevant leadership experience leading, delivering or supporting enterprise IT platforms within a highly regulated industry • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The anticipated wage for this position is $124,500 - $182,600 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
