The mission of the Supply Chain Business Process Knowledge Center
(BPKC) is to provide technical and business process expertise to
the global supply chain business processes at Eli Lilly and
Company. These business processes span across the supply chain
management towers of Planning, Buy & Make, Store & Handle, and Ship
& Distribute. This position supports the Store & Handle function,
including Warehouse Management, Warehouse Execution System
integration, and Serialization. The Supply Chain BPKC is
responsible for business process and SAP training, consulting,
problem resolution, process improvements, innovation, project
implementations, and tool and process governance. Our purpose
centers on the use of SAP and global tools to make our Supply Chain
business processes more innovative, productive, and control minded.
While this position will perform no IT technical configuration or
SAP programming work, configuration knowledge and SAP
implementation experience is strongly desirable. The position's
responsibilities focus on the usability of SAP and connected
systems by our GBS Centers, Corporate functions, affiliates, and
manufacturing and distribution site personnel. High-Level
Responsibilities: Project Implementation Lead complex
cross-functional projects or large projects in the Store & Handle
space, utilizing project management techniques as appropriate.
Influence, design, and develop complex business processes and
technical solutions to the global SAP environment in partnership
with information technology and business leaders. Organize and
conduct requirements gathering, design, testing, documentation, and
training activities for projects impacting Store and Handle.
Business Partnering and Innovation Build relationships with
stakeholders to understand pain points and effectively navigate
internal processes. Network with external parties to create and
maintain awareness of the latest business and technical trends,
issues, and opportunities; share learnings with Lilly peers and
leaders. Leverage depth and breadth of global Finance and Supply
Chain business and technical experience to propose innovations that
improve productivity and controls. Process and Tool Governance
Govern the integrity of global design, anticipating key business
and environmental changes impacting global Store and Handle
processes. Work with Global Process Owners, Global Supply Chain,
Site Supply Chain Teams, IT, and Business Quality Assurance to
ensure the systems are compliant with all external requirements and
internal productivity targets. Partner with the Global Process
Owner and PMO to prioritize projects and changes. Provide ideas and
input to influence the project list. Prioritize system changes for
break/fixes and enhancements in cooperation with the IT and Data
teams. Identify opportunities to maximize technology usage and
benefits within the Finance and Supply Chain SAP environment.
Utilize data, analytics, and process mining tools and techniques to
gain actionable business insights. Consulting and Problem
Resolution Provide complex consulting to team members and end-users
related to Store and Handle questions and issues. Serve as a
consultant on complex, cross-functional issues with other supply
chain functions and IT colleagues. Resolve business and technical
issues impacting global process. Identify and act on incremental
innovation plays based on consulting requests received and
opportunities observed. Understand master data and its impact on
transactional processing and reporting; provide recommendations to
issues, break/fixes, projects, and governance rules accordingly.
Understand SAP security role group design and security
authorizations; engage security experts as needed to ensure
sensitive information is protected. Training Materials and Delivery
Provide Store and Handle business process and SAP training and
formal knowledge transfer around key integration points and
cross-functional implications of processes. Share key learning
points and system changes to the global Store and Handle community
to increase business process knowledge and SAP proficiency. Ensure
training materials and process flows are up-to-date based on the
latest system and business process changes. Basic Requirements: BS
degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Information Technology, Business,
or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 5 years of Lilly
or industry experience with strong and broad business process
knowledge in the Warehousing and Logistics space 3 years of
EWM-related projects, consulting, or problem resolution
Demonstrated ability to appropriately diagnose complex SAP and
business problems, select or create alternative solutions, and
effectively implement the solution Additional Preferences: Ability
to work independently and as part of a global, virtual,
cross-functional team Ability to influence decision-makers and
cooperate with people at all levels of an organization A growth
mindset and the learning agility to draw upon previous experiences
and apply them to new situations Curiosity to uncover root causes
of issues and the drive to correct and prevent them Action-oriented
and persistent to work through ambiguity Previous experience in a
manufacturing and/or distribution site Effective project management
skills to manage time, prioritize tasks, and implement mitigating
steps to keep projects on schedule to meet deadlines The ability to
lead and influence a team without direct authority APICs CPIM, CSCP
or CLTD certification preferred Multi-lingual a plus Excellent

activities, some overtime and/or “off hours” effort is required
during peak business times 20% domestic and/or international travel
might be required This role is not eligible for remote work. The
individual must be onsite in Indianapolis, IN with the ability to

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $123,000 -
$180,400 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
