Pharmacovigilance Project Management (PV PM) is a strategic leader
within the GPS Capabilities Portfolio Management Office (PMO),
responsible for driving organizational strategy, portfolio delivery
excellence, and ground-breaking change across Global Patient
Safety. This executive role combines strategic portfolio oversight
with operational excellence, leading cross-functional teams in
support of critical GPS initiatives while developing and mentoring
high-performing project management teams. This position serves as a
key strategic partner to GPS leadership, translating organizational
vision into executable portfolio strategies while ensuring
alignment with regulatory standards, operational excellence, and
enterprise risk management frameworks. The Senior Director leads
strategic planning, portfolio prioritization, resource
optimization, change management initiatives, and organizational
capability development while fostering a culture of growth and

Leadership & Portfolio Management Drive development and execution
of GPS PMO strategic roadmap, aligning portfolio initiatives with
enterprise objectives, regulatory requirements, and organizational
priorities Lead enterprise-level portfolio management including
investment planning, prioritization frameworks, capacity planning,
and performance analytics to optimize resource allocation and
enhance strategic value Support the drug portfolio review process,
ensuring alignment with global development priorities, risk
management strategies, and patient safety objectives Establish and
maintain portfolio governance frameworks, decision-making
processes, and performance metrics ensuring transparency,
accountability, and data-driven decision making Partner with GPS
senior leadership to identify strategic opportunities, assess
organizational capability gaps, and devel-op cases for
ground-breaking initiatives Lead IDEA intake assessment and
decision processes, managing resource allocation, portfolio
balancing, and PMO book of work to ensure strategic alignment and
operational feasibility Risk Management & Compliance Develop and
implement comprehensive enterprise risk management frameworks for
GPS portfolio, including risk identification, assessment,
mitigation, and monitoring processes Support third-party
organization strategy including vendor selection, risk-based
qualification, performance monitoring, and compliance assurance
aligned with GPS standards Implement risk-based oversight models
for external partnerships, ensuring contractual alignment, quality
standards, and regulatory compliance Lead cross-functional risk
assessment reviews, advancing critical issues to governance bodies
with data-driven recommendations and mitigation strategies Ensure
audit and inspection readiness across portfolio, maintaining
comprehensive documentation, quality standards, and regulatory
compliance Portfolio Delivery & Operational Excellence Handle
portfolio execution ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, budget,
and quality standards while proactively managing dependencies and
raising issues to governance Develop and implement innovative
resource modeling and forecasting tools to optimize capacity
planning, demand management, and utilization across global safety
teams Monitor portfolio health metrics, performance indicators, and
delivery landmarks, providing executive reporting and data driven
insights to leadership Drive process standardization and
optimization across PMO, implementing project management standard
processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance delivery excellence
Lead development of PMO capabilities including tools, templates,
training programs, and knowledge management sys-tems to support
organizational scalability Support portfolio governance cadence
including steering committees, leadership reviews, and collaborator
communications ensuring transparency and alignment Change
Management & Organizational Transformation Lead GPS ground-breaking
change initiatives including process redesign, technology adoption,
organizational restructuring, and cultural transformation programs
Design and implement comprehensive organisational change (OCM)
strategies incorporating partner analysis, communication planning,
training programs, and adoption metrics Serve as change champion
and executive sponsor for major initiatives, coaching leaders and
teams through transitions while building organizational change
capability Develop change readiness assessments, resistance
management strategies, and sustainability plans ensuring successful
adoption and long-term value realization Partner with Learning &
Development, and Quality Assurance to align change initiatives with
capability development, and quality systems Establish structural
transformation frameworks, toolkits, and metrics to standardize
organizational approach and measure transformation effectiveness
People Management & Leadership Development Build, develop, and lead
high-performing PMO team, establishing clear roles,

as mentor and coach to project managers and PMO team members,

Qualification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences,
business, project management, or related field 6 years experience
in project/program management within pharmaceutical, biotechnology,
or healthcare sectors 5 years in senior leadership roles with
direct people management responsibility, including team
development, performance management, and organizational design

and organizational transformation initiatives Other

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $156,000 -
$253,000 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
