working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in
Bloomington, Indiana, 47408! Job Title: Registered Nurse

weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 18 months
minimum required License: Must obtain state license prior to start
Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required; NIH preferred Must-Have:
Comfortable with both Progressive Care and MedSurg. Ability to work
with mixed acuity patients. Previous charge experience preferred.
Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
Experience with arterial line management, central line care, and
titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips. Description: This
position involves caring for patients in a mixed acuity unit.
Nurses will work with a variety of patient populations including
cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, cardiology, endocrine,
and oncology. The average patient ratio is 1:5. Nurses are expected
to manage post-cardiac surgery patients and assist with procedures
such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement. Experience with
ventilated patients and other critical care equipment is preferred.
All rooms are private and equipped with overhead lifts. The unit
supports interdisciplinary care and collaborates with various
healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Candidates should be prepared to float within the facility as
required. A commitment to working during major holidays is
necessary. The environment is fast-paced, and the role demands
strong critical thinking and assessment skills. Nurses will be
administering medications, including blood products, and managing
