Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of our in-store pharmacy department. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient pharmacy operations while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and compliance with healthcare regulations. The Pharmacy Team Lead will guide pharmacy staff, manage prescriptions, and consult with patients regarding medications and their health care needs. This position presents an exciting opportunity to lead a critical component of our healthcare services, ensuring a harmonious link between comprehensive healthcare support and community service. Direct daily pharmacy operations and manage pharmacy staff performance. Ensure the accuracy of all prescribed medication provided to customers. Maintain strict compliance with federal and state regulations concerning health care and privacy. Educate and guide customers on medication usage and interactions. Monitor inventory levels and manage pharmacy supplies. Facilitate communication between staff, customers, and healthcare providers. Report to store management on pharmacy activities and progress. In-depth knowledge of pharmacological terminology and medication management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to resolve conflicts and handle customer service issues effectively. Proficiency in pharmacy information systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid and active Pharmacist license. Certification in Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery is preferred.
