Job Description GI Hospitalist opening in OhioLocated in Dayton,
OHFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC GI Hospitalist to join
practice. - Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and
fellows - Provide care to a diverse patient population across
multiple settings - Collaborate with GI fellows and APPs in a
high-volume program (5,000 annual endoscopic procedures, including
ERCP, EUS, ESD) - Hospital Employed - Level I Trauma Center - The
GI Hospitalist role offers the stimulation of challenging
acute-care cases, opportunities for advanced invasive procedures,
and constant interaction with other physicians in a hospital
setting. - 7 on / 7 off, but open to discussing other options.
Skills: - Have an interest in acute care - Have in-depth knowledge
of the diagnosis/treatment of complex GI diseases - Be proficient
in all basic and emergency GI procedures (e.g., variceal and ulcer
bleeding, food impactions, and volvulus) and in advanced procedures
(e.g., ERCPs and complex dilations) - Possess excellent
communication skills - Be adaptable and flexible for rapidly
changing endoscopy needs Location:Conveniently located with easy
access to Columbus, Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Dayton. Amenities
