Job Description Hospitalist System Medical Director opening in
Western Pennsylvania (Permanent)Located in Indiana County, PA (&
surrounding locations)1 hour to Pittsburgh, PADates: OngoingThis is
a permanent position.Opportunity Details:System-wide leadership
role overseeing Hospital Medicine Medical Directors across multiple
hospital sitesResponsible for performance, quality, staffing,
scheduling, and overall clinical operationsOversee the following
locations:Telemedicine AHN NeighborhoodsLead clinical, operational,
and strategic initiatives to ensure high reliability and
high-performing teamsProvide performance coaching, recognition, and
career guidance to site leadersSupport recruitment, credentialing,
orientation, and professional development of providersParticipate
in key hospital committees and represent the organization when
requestedFull-time leadership role combined with clinical
Hospitalist dutiesRequires 24/7 availability for physician
leadership support and in-person presence 1–2
days/weekRequirements:MD or DO degreeBoard Certified Hospitalist
(Internal Medicine or Family Medicine)Active state medical
license(s) and federal DEAMinimum 2 years of physician leadership
experience preferredExperience in Hospital Medicine management
strongly preferredExceptional interpersonal, communication,
coaching, and team-building skillsCompensation & Benefits:$4,000
