Job Description:

A Level 1 NICU is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Indiana, Pennsylvania. The facility requires two 24-hour shifts for hospitalists, who will provide GYN coverage but are not required to perform circumcisions or serve as first assist, as this is typically handled by midwives, residents, or the group. There is no first assist available to hospitalists, and they are not expected to back up midwives but will provide backup for family practice. Hospitalists will have backup available through OB/GYN ED call. The NICU is Level I, with an average of 200 total hospital deliveries per month, and hospitalists are expected to handle approximately 25 deliveries monthly.
