Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer.Responsibilities We are looking for a PRN Board Certified OBGYN MD/DO with 2 years experience for our new OB Hospitalist program. The OB Hospitalist will be responsible for:
  • Management of labor up to and including delivery, as requested by generalist physicians
  • Urgent postpartum care as requested by the assigned physician
  • Providing back-up and consultation for midwifery service
  • Caring for all unassigned patients who present to the OB Unit or Emergency Room
  • Triage of all patients who present to the unit unless directly admitted
  • When requested, assist in cesarean deliveries
  • Communicate with Maternal Fetal Medicine on consults & actions when requested
  • Level III maternity center
  • Level III NICU
  • 24hr dedicated OB anesthesia
  • Rapidly growing suburban market with mostly private payer mix

      Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education:
