Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A contract position is available for a Special
Education Teacher with a focus on Life Skills, serving middle
school students in grades 5-9. This role supports a small group of
approximately nine students, working closely with two aides to
deliver individualized instruction and applied skill development.
The assignment is located in Muncie, Indiana, within the Delaware
and Blackford areas, and will run through the current school year,
ending May 29, 2026. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement
life skills and applied learning curriculum tailored for middle
school special education students. Collaborate with aides and
educational staff to provide individualized support and promote
student success. Manage classrooms and maintain a safe, supportive
learning environment. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching
strategies to meet diverse needs. Participate in team meetings and
communicate with parents and stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
Valid Indiana Teachers license or eligibility to obtain a license
or permit in Mild or Intense Interventions. Experience teaching
special education students, preferably in middle school grades 5-9.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Ability
to implement applied skills instruction and behavior interventions.
