detail-oriented, and organized Automotive Title Clerk to join our
team. Job Summary: The Automotive Title Clerk is responsible for
handling all vehicle title and registration processes in compliance
with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will be
highly organized, knowledgeable in DMV procedures, and able to
manage multiple transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Key
Responsibilities: Process all new and used vehicle titles,
registrations, and tag work for customers and the dealership Submit
paperwork to the DMV accurately and within required timeframes
Maintain compliance with all state and local regulations regarding
vehicle sales and titles Track title and registration status;
follow up with banks, customers, and government agencies as needed
Reconcile title work and vehicle inventory reports Handle
out-of-state title and registration processes when necessary
Maintain electronic and paper filing systems for all titling
documents Communicate with the sales and finance departments to
ensure accurate deal completion Assist with additional office
duties as needed. Requirements: Qualifications: High school diploma
or equivalent 1–3 years of experience as an Automotive Title Clerk
Strong understanding of DMV policies, title processing, and legal
documentation Excellent attention to detail and organizational
skills Proficient with dealership DMS systems Ability to work
independently and manage deadlines Strong communication and
problem-solving skills Professional and courteous demeanor Equal
