Job Description: Primary Purpose of Role: Reporting into Human
Resources (HR) and closely liaising with finance function to
provide budget planning and financial forecasting support to the HR
organization. Applies knowledge of financial processes and
organizational structure to ensure accurate financial tracking and
reporting also in support of business case and/or value capture
analysis. Works to identify improvement opportunities in areas of
record keeping, closing activities and financial reporting, and
contributes to associated process improvement initiatives. Key
Responsibilities: Compiles and analyzes financial information from
all components of the organizational entity, and develops
integrated expense analyses, p rojections, reports, and
presentations. Processes accruals, reclassifications and budget
adjustments to maintain accurate financial records, in accordance
with established policies and procedures. Conducts variance
analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted
expenditures and recommends necessary adjustments. Collaborates
with cross-functional teams, and coordinates all compone nts of the
organization to ensure consistent reporting and adherence to
federal and state financial reporting regulations and guidelines,
and conformity with company fiscal policies and procedures.
Analyzes, designs, documents, and implements internal fina ncial
reporting systems and procedures for the organization or business
entity. Supports process improvement efforts by identifying
inefficiencies, recommending and implementing solutions within the
areas of record keeping, closing activities and financial
reporting. Contributes to the development of business cases and/or
value capture by providing relevant financial insights and data
analytics. Other duties as assigned related to support of HR
Project Management Office Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s
degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human
Resources ; or equivalent work experience 2 years experience in a
financial analyst, budget an alyst or accounting role Computer
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Power
Point, Word, Access, and Outlook, and financial management systems
such as SAP or similar ERP platforms. ? Experience: Experience
using SAP in a financial setting preferred. Strong interpersonal
and communication skills, working with and presenting to senior
leaders and leadership teams Ability to provide technical guidance
and leadership to professional personnel in area of expe rtise.
Ability to compile, analyze, interpret, and present soph isticated
annual financial reports, statements, and/or projections. Ability
to deliver high?quality work under tight deadlines Knowledge of the
principles, processes, and standards for integrated financial
analysis and reporting as related to a public company. Preferred: 3
